Art by Edo – Precision Aviation Art from WWI to Modern Day

Ed Jackson, hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, is the artist behind Art by Edo. A U.S. Air Force avionics veteran turned aviation artist, Ed combines his mechanical insight and artistic passion into digitally rendered aircraft illustrations. Now residing in Japan, he brings incredible precision and character to every piece, preserving the history of aircraft from World War I through to today with technical accuracy and artistic depth.

Ed’s portfolio spans iconic biplanes such as the Sopwith Camel and Sopwith Triplane, as well as contemporary military aircraft, with each work filled with meticulous detail—from engine panels and rigging to historical markings and insignia. Drawing from his own military experience and deep appreciation for aviation heritage, Ed’s illustrations speak to both enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

We are thrilled to feature Art by Edo as part of our Signature Editions collection having been reformatted to our Aero Craft Printed Panel style. Professionally dye-sublimated onto Chromaluxe Aluminium and then hand-riveted to our aircraft-style frame, resulting in a bold, tactile collector-grade panel built to last for generations.
