Made To Order - Lead Time Applies
This striking head-on photograph captures a Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jet as it roars into take-off from an unlikely runway — a Finnish public highway. The image freezes the moment of raw thrust and precision as the jet powers forward, nose high, framed by the narrow strip of asphalt normally reserved for civilian traffic.
Taken during Exercise Baana, this was the first time RAF Typhoons successfully landed and launched from a standard road, proving their ability to operate far beyond conventional bases. The annual Finnish Air Force training exercise demonstrates the concept of Agile Combat Employment: dispersing frontline aircraft to remote locations, surviving potential attacks, and continuing operations with minimal support.
Each Classic Metal Print is created using Gloss Chromaluxe Aluminium and the advanced process of dye sublimation, delivering exceptional clarity, colour, and durability. The print is mounted using a precision-engineered float block, making it ready to hang straight out of the box with a clean, frameless presentation and a 2 cm standoff from the wall.
